Can you trim or remove city trees? No, you need to call the city to have city trees dealt with. If you are unsure if your tree is a city tree, give the City of Regina (or your town’s office) a call to verify it’s on your property before we come to give you a quote.
We offer advice for DIY tree work for $150. If you decide to hire us instead, this fee is deducted from the final bill.
When is Elm tree trimming banned in Saskatchewan? There is an elm tree trimming ban between April 1 and August 31 to prevent the spread of Dutch elm disease. Elm trees can be removed during this time, as long as the wood is disposed of at an approved site.

What if my neighbor’s tree has a branch hanging in my yard? If the branch is on your side of the property line, you have the authority to trim it. It’s your responsibility.
